About me

I was born and raised here in Middle Tennessee calling Dickson, Tennessee home until moving to Williamson County in 2004. I attended Lane College (HBCU) in Jackson, Tennessee and obtained a degree in Education. Upon graduation, I was hired as a Youth Services’ Officer here with Williamson County’s Juvenile Court where I am currently employed.  I am also a member of the Executive Committee of the Tennessee Juvenile Court Services Association (TJCSA). I am a certified instructor for Non-violent Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and Shield of Care (which focuses on Juvenile Suicide Prevention).  I also serve as Williamson County’s Juvenile Public Services Coordinator.

After many years together, I married my high school sweetheart, Sonya, in 2002 and we have four children. Three of our children are currently enrolled in Williamson County Schools. Our 2nd born child, Bane Beasley, passed away suddenly in 2010 from bacterial meningitis.  Following his loss, my wife and I co-founded Banebow, Inc which is a local nonprofit and 501©3.  Banebow, Inc. provides therapeutic counseling services to those who have experienced the loss of a child. One of my favorite activities is serving as a coach for my children in both flag and tackle football as well as basketball.  I am a member of Bethel World Outreach Church and attend with my family. In my free time, I enjoy cooking for my family and smoking all types of meat with my friends.
